Subject: Request for scholarship (tuition-fee reduction)
Dear Madam,
I am honoured to state that I am a regular student of XIS and recently passed Grade-7. This session I will promote to Grade-8. Recalling earlier facts, I inform you that have studied at XIS from the very beginning of the institute.
My aim in life is to become educated and help people. Therefore, my ambition is to achieve success and be of some use to the world. For making it true, I want to study hard and in this way I can fulfill my dream.
But, now it appears that I cannot even continue my studies. As my family is having a sudden financial crisis and moreover as the school tuition fees have been increased to a large extent this year, now it has become very difficult for me to pay off the school fees and so therefore I am unable to continue studying here at XIS.
At XIS, the teachers are friendly and warmly affectionate; they care a lot about us. Moreover, they are well-qualified and we receive proper education. I mainly like this school because this is an ICT-based school and it is always growing. The nice environment and the hope I gather from the teachers bids me to stay here. By this time, I have formed an emotional attachment with the school; it would be a pity to leave the school like this. True but with utmost regret I say it.
Under these circumstances, I would be able to study at school if I were granted a scholarship. The attainment of such a scholarship involves a reduction in tuition fees. If the amount of payment was such as it was in the previous year, it would be suitable for me. More specifically, it would be perfect for me if the monthly tuition fee is around BDT 3500-5000. I will be obliged to you if you consent me this favour.
I, therefore, hope that you would be kind enough to grant me access to a scholarship and show your extended co-operation and sympathy.
I look forward to hearing from you.
I remain
Madam,
